Fiddletown Community Center

Fiddletown is on the National Register of Historic Places and the Fiddletown District is a California Historical Landmark. Fiddletown’s Community Center was built in 1934 as a dance pavilion. Fiddletown dances attracted people from all the surrounding communities. It now serves as the headquarters of the Fiddletown Community Club. The brick building abutting it was constructed about 1853 and served as a firehouse.

Home Tour Tea
Plan to take a break from touring homes at the AAUW Tea in the Fiddletown Community Center. This is the place to sit and relax with a cup of coffee, tea or a cold drink and enjoy some delicious homemade cookies and music performed by local young musicians.

AAUW Art Show and Sale
As you enter the building, you will have an opportunity to view the artistic works by the members of our Art in Action Interest Group. Many pieces will be for sale, so if you see something you like, you can take home some art of your own.

Raffle Baskets
In the Fiddletown Community Center, you will also find themed Raffle Baskets prepared by AAUW Interest Group members and others. Just purchase tickets, providing your name and phone number and place the tickets in the bag representing the basket or baskets you would like to win. There will be lots of winners, so join in the fun and further support our scholarship fund raising efforts. The winning tickets will be drawn at 3 p.m. You do not need to be present to win.
