Planning for the 2025 Home Tour
in Ione is underway!
Mark your calendar for the 49th AAUW Home Tour on Saturday, May 3, featuring beautiful homes and gardens, historic sites, and tea at Ione’s Preston Castle. Don’t miss the opportunity to explore the castle’s first floor in addition to visiting the historic Community United Methodist Church. And, if you have been to a previous Home Tour, you’ll remember buying raffle basket tickets for the opportunity to win a fabulous themed basket, e.g. wine, food, arts and crafts, local attraction tickets, and more.
Tickets will be on sale for $40 in mid-March through Eventbrite (plus service fee), or pay cash at the Feed Barn in Jackson and the Ione Pharmacy. Day of event tickets will be $45. The event allows AAUW Amador to award scholarships to local 7th graders to attend a summer STEM camp and to upper division, graduate and non-traditional college students. Please plan on joining us in Ione to learn what makes it Iconic!
