AAUW Watercolor Paint and Sip
October 23, 2021

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to paint with watercolors?  You will have that opportunity on Saturday, October 23, from 2:00 to 4:00 pm at the Rollingwood Estates Clubhouse in Jackson.  Judy Day, a renowned local watercolor artist and experienced teacher, will lead participants through a watercolor painting class.  Learn more about Judy and take a look at her work at her website, www.judyaday.com.

The fee of $45 includes all supplies, one glass of wine and snacks.  Additional glasses of wine will be available for $3.00 each.  The funds raised will support AAUW’s scholarship program and send middle school girls to Tech Trek camp.

This will be a fun, creative experience and you will go home with a piece of art you created.  There will also be a silent auction of artwork, so you may go home with more than one piece of art!  The class will be limited to 25 participants, so register soon.  Nancy Street is accepting registrations at streetjb@volcano.net or 209-295-1273.  The registration deadline is October 16 or until the class is filled.

The Rollingwood Estates Clubhouse is located at 20 Rollingwood Drive in Jackson.  There is plenty of parking, but carpooling is encouraged if possible.  COVID guidelines in effect at the time of the event will be observed.

Join us for a relaxing and creative afternoon while making a worthwhile contribution to furthering the education of young women and girls of Amador County.

AAUW welcomes new members. Find more information on this website in the “Join” section.

Welcome Back Membership Meeting
